i have a huge collection of linens. i especially love really old french linen, that thick flaxy feel drives me mad. to me, there is nothing more beautiful than a big stack of folded linen, and that is how simple i am.

this was our airplane breakfast flying from vermont to san francisco. looks pretty yummy for airplane food, no ? well it was. we were lucky enough to fly first class, where they treat you like real people rather than cattle.

i have a collection of old mason jars. i am besotted with their cool shades of green + blue. they remind me of classic sea glass . . . which reminds me of the sea . . . which brings me to such a serene and tranquil place, just by looking at them.

i love spaces between the teeth. it adds so much character and intrigue to a face. i befriended this little girl, daphne, on the beach in baja. she would stand so close to me that all i could focus on were the spaces between her teeth. she was a sweet little girl with a big beautiful smile.
