FUNNY or FOUL ?

does this toilette plaque make you laugh, or do you find it utterly disgusting ? personally, i think it is hilarious. why not send people into the bathroom with a sense of humor (they might need it in there) ?

i am having some fun with a new technique of making my own decals. it's satisfying and i'm so inspired, but it involves more work, as it requires a THIRD firing. yes, a third time in the kiln for yet another chance for one MORE thing to go wrong !

there may be more of these plaques in the future (depending on the response), but for now there is only one available here.

haha hope the 3rd firing is a super one, are you doing the lazer printer process to produce decals?

YES. laser printer decals. it's great, but really, firing something 3 times is kinda crazy, no?

Awesome. Make more. I'll buy one. Eventually.

well you could screen print the image underglaze..it would save a firing.

ang. . . i've tried screen printing but i didn't take to it. too messy, iffy, blotchy, etc...do you do it ?!

yeh, i was only thinking some of the images i used were fairly delicate but worked well, we used kera inks and home mixed both were successful...but you're right decals are cleaner..and thanks for dropping by mine..

I think it is really funny. It reminds me of the" turkish" ( that is what they were called !) style holes that they use to have in the parisian cafes where you had to hold that pose.....
May I please inform you that the word toilette in the singular means body washing, and toilettes in the plural means, well you know turkish holes and such places.....
will stop by soon.

this is the pose i did while traveling in china.

hhhmmmm....i've had so many debates with the toilette vs. toilettes and i kept getting mixed answers. but, coming from a true french woman, i will change to TOILETTES !

MERCI !
