sunday was the BIG alameda flea market. it was the PERFECT day. the weather was warm and sunny. the smell of hot dogs graced the air. and it was NOT crowded, as it was super bowl sunday (whatever THAT means).
there was a lot of inspiration to be found in the old junk. but, as usual, i was mostly drawn to the french themed items.
. . . and my only purchase were these thick linen monogramed napkins that i can't seem to own enough of.

Lucky you. I went, kicking and screaming, to my first Super Bowl party (I don't like bowling). Then I got in a pool, but there was no swimming.
My payoff... $20 to take to the Sacramento flea market next Sunday.
Things have a way of evening out.
SCORE. have fun at the flea. surely you will find a treasure for $20 !
