yesterday there was a great little story written about our studio on the handful of salt blog. i really didn't know they were going to be taking photos, otherwise i would have cleaned off my desk a little !
That was such a nice interview, with the mess and all. I have always had friends who are potters (or clay-heads!) and think they have some secret union with "the good life". Must be the earthiness of it. I work alone in a big old church because the rent is cheap, but I miss having artist pals around. Lucky for you. BTW, I adore these new spoons, and I took you for a Cancer, hmm, should have guessed earth.
Wow, the spoons turned out great! I love that your desk is organic and has not been staged in any way. There is a beauty to the chaos of the creative process.
