i'm usually all about white clay with black words, but here in france i tried black clay with white words. i'm loving the result (the clay is actually much blacker than it is in this photo).
i totally agree. the ONLY drawback is how messy black clay is. i was lucky here to have 2 large work tables. one was for black clay + one was for white clay . . . even then, there was some contamination.

The dark body really conveys warmth. It's a much more dynamic juxtaposition.

Space is a commodity when dealing with color separation. I can see how it becomes a virtue when dealing with black and white bodies.
