the colours in the town of vallauris are so beautiful to me. very muddy and very bright at the same time. i'll paint the flower petals in colours that reflect this town.

i wanted this vessel to look like an old cement wall, as i am inspired by the decrepitness of this town. i find the old facades and the wear and tear of the buildings so incredibly beautiful. so much history. so much life. this is the kind of thing that really stirs my soul.
